Judy Bowen will give your party a wonderful ambiance, whether you are having a wedding cocktail hour, elegant cocktail party or a casual party. With 30 years of performing experience and a vast repertoire, she plays hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's, as well as newer songs, standards and classical arrangements.
Judy has played solo piano at cocktail parties, corporate events, wedding receptions, private parties, country clubs, resorts, corporate events, restaurants, piano bars and malls in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Illinois. Recent venues include the Rio Casino and Hotel, the World Market Center and private parties in Las Vegas, the John Hancock Center, Navy Pier, Union League Club, Drury Lane and JW Marriott in Chicago and the Georgian Terrace in Atlanta (where the premiere of "Gone With the Wind" was held in 1939) . She received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in piano from the University of Illinois, studying with Joel Shapiro. Her classical background has influenced her smooth, elegant and expressive style of playing. Judy was featured among 138 cocktail pianists in a new book about cocktail pianists, "The Cocktail Piano Companion" by James Spencer of California.
